Daud's VA is in Narnia and sounds just as badass Posted: 09 Apr 2020 04:37 PM PDT Watching The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe (hi quarantine) for the first time in years and Maugrim the main wolf sounded very very familiar to a certain assassin we all know and love. Quick Imdb later and it's Michael Madsen. Now I have another excuse to replay Dishonored and listen to that beautiful gruff voice Stay safe! Stay indoors! [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Apr 2020 06:22 PM PDT Playing through Knife of Dunwall currently and I am at a loss for how Daud triggers the wristbow to fire. I originally thought it was from his quick/snap of his wrist that triggers it, but then I saw him do the melee assassination with it and that wouldn't work. Also I have no idea how he is able to retract the bolt in the melee kill. If anyone has any idea, would love to know. Thanks [link] [comments]
Dishonored 2 Well Funded Trophy Posted: 09 Apr 2020 05:44 PM PDT Hi everyone so I'm finally playing Dishonored 2 and I was wondering about the Well Funded Trophy... do you have to collect every single coin in all the missions to get this trophy or is it okay for a few coins not being collected I've just completed Mission 1 A Long Day In Dunwall and I've collected 1480 out of the 1490 coins please advise if its okay to miss a few coins and still get the trophy while collecting paintings and runes thanks. Questions regarding Farley Havelock Posted: 09 Apr 2020 05:43 PM PDT A preamble first. I've finished the first Dishonored game to an extent (high and total chaos endings), but I've probably missed a lot of dialogue that I would've gotten had I played differently. I liked the game, and will probably enjoy playing it mercifully, stealthily, and with powers next. Having taken a few sneak peaks, I have a good idea of what's canon and what's not, so I know why certain things seemed weird to me while playing in a very non-canon way. What I still don't understand is Havelock's fate, which I have two questions about. 1) Why does he jump (if allowed to) in the high-chaos ending? 2) I've read that it's canon that Corvo kills Havelock (please correct me and the wiki if I'm wrong), and have done so, but not in low chaos. Is it explained in the sequel how that's worked out in the end? I mean, it wasn't a legal execution like Hiram's, and Havelock was Lord Regent, so I imagine that his murder could have repercussions for Corvo. I could definitely imagine Emily pardoning Corvo, but would the next Lord Regent allow it? I know that Cecelia, Samuel, and possibly the scientists would make good witnesses in court, but I'm just not sure how it would all work. If this procedure is explained in either the low-chaos ending cutscene or the Dishonored II story, then please just say so and don't spoil it for me. [link] [comments]

Dishonored Daud DLCs Mission Poll Posted: 09 Apr 2020 06:18 AM PDT I want to make a poll for each game to try and see which is the best mission in all of Dishonored, I will start with Dishonored 1 and then move onto the Daud DLCs and then Dishonored 2 and then Dishonored DOTO. Once we have all the best missions of each game we will pit each one against each other and see which is overall, the best Dishonored mission of all time. Also since the Polls have a limit I will divide it into two parts for the mainline games, the first five missions, and then later four missions. I have done Dishonored 1, that poll will be up for another two days if you still want to vote. I will now continue with Dishonored Daud DLCs, since they follow the same story and are all in Dishonored 1 I will put them in the same poll. I consider the two DLC's for Daud as the same singular game with a cohesive story between all of them. We are all bored and in quarantine so why not? [link] [comments]
Dishonored 2 has a new game plus. I will play it for a very long time because of this Posted: 09 Apr 2020 12:38 AM PDT I wonder what the deal is with bethesda(well and a bunch of other develpers) and being so dead set against new game plus? Dishonored 1 would have been my favorite singleplayer game of all time, but it wasn't worth playing more than once when everything reset, I tried, just couldn't push myself to play it. Do developers think it will ruin the game or something? We already get the intended experience by playing the game once, I don't see the point in making people not want to play the game again. My only assumption is that publishers refuse new game plus options because they think people will buy another game sooner without new game plus? Resident Evil 4 was the game I played absolute most in the ps2/gamecube days, I think I played the story 39 times. because everything carried over from the previous save, it felt like it was going towards something, more power. I appreciate it if someone actually reads this [link] [comments]

Bugged trophies in Dishonored 2? Mainly Art Collector and Souvenirs? Posted: 09 Apr 2020 04:22 AM PDT I just finished the game and neither of those popped. I'm fairly sure I got all of the paintings, though I may have missed one, but I'm certain I got all of the decorations. [link] [comments]
