    They look almost the same

I made this sword, its my own design, made it without a plan actually BUT, since I played the games hundreds of hours, there must be some Dishonored in this! Full metal and wood, plus some lights.

Killing the Lord Regent and the Torturer while maintaining a Ghost/Clean Hands run was the most fun I've had in a while.

    Posted: 01 Jul 2021 09:57 AM PDT

Here's how I did it: Go to the Torturer's chamber, possess the hound and run away, I kill it in the toilet. Knocked out Hiram Burrows so I can get into his safe to retrieve the audio. Go to radio tower to broadcast his crimes. Go back to his room and follow the officers escorting him. Wait for them to go downstairs then go near the door towards the hallway leading to the Torturer's chamber. Bend time, shoot an arrow near the escort. Run towards the stairs to the Torturer. throw a grenade to the stairs to draw attention from the two officers stationed nearby as well as the Torturer himself. Bend time again so you will not be seen by Hiram, blink on top of the pipes and use dark vision. Hiram will go down being chased by 4 officers while the Torturer is going up to investigate the noise, he will completely ignore Hiram and the officers passing by him which is funny.

Once Hiram is cornered and taking damage the Torturer will run downstairs to help Hiram but he will die before he gets there. Now the Torturer is alone 1v4, he is getting DPS'ed hard by the officers and is downed after a few seconds.

I threw another grenade further away to draw the officers attention and collect the rune downstairs.

A steampunk sword, made of metal and wood. Added some lights for the "reactor" and the tube. I really tried to include some gears...but failed. I am beyond happy with the result nonetheless.

Dishonored 2: I'm really having a hard time trying for a high chaos run.

    Posted: 01 Jul 2021 02:30 AM PDT

I'm trying to get high chaos but its proving to be more tiring than low chaos. I found it significantly easier to stay out of trouble than to get into trouble; traversing up high avoiding trouble is faster and more convenient, whereas actively hunting people down is actually putting in more work than necessary. Low chaos is more hassle-free than high chaos for me, isn't it supposed to be the other way around? Have you ever heard someone complain about high chaos being too hard to get?

I'm not a fan of the combat so I prefer staying out of it. Other than combat, what's the quickest/fastest way of racking up kills?

    Was Jessamine an incompetent ruler?

    Posted: 01 Jul 2021 05:46 AM PDT

Based on dialogues and notes, Jessamine is well-respected by those who knew her and she seems to genuinely want good for her people. Though we didn't get to see much of her reign and I can't blame her for not being able to survive an assassin with supernatural powers, a lot of events in the series appears to be at least partially her fault, namely

    1. Keeping untrusworthy officers around (especially Burrows) which results in the plague and her death
    2. Corruption among aristocrats (that occurs even before the plague) that results in crazy wide gap between the rich and the poor
    3. Pretty much everything to do with Delilah stems from Jessamine framing her which leads to insane amount of atrocities. Though we don't know how much of her backstory is true, Jessamine's spirit didn't deny any of it. It's not confirmed if she knew their blood relation when she was alive but if she knew, she didn't seem to care.
    4. Whatever military system used in Dunwall must be so shit that grand guards injure and kill citizens like it's nothing and turn on the royal protector without a second thought. This gets even worse in the sequel that they turn ON THE EMPRESS for some woman that just randomly shows up.
    5. Havelock, Martin, Pendleton, etc. Everyone in Dunwall are such backstabbing a-holes who try to take others down given any opportinuty after she's gone. It's like Corvo and Emily are the only decent people she had around.

    Dishonored 2 Soundtrack

    Posted: 01 Jul 2021 02:12 PM PDT

I know Dishonored soundtrack is available on Steam to buy but I haven't seen Dishonored 2 soundtrack or DOTO soundtrack. Is there any reason we know why they weren't released on Steam etc. or perhaps I'm not looking in the right place?
