does the outsider dislike daud? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 06:14 AM PDT i haven't played dishonored 2 because my pc can't run it, but i don't mind being spoiled. basically i've been playing through dishonored 1 and i get the feeling that the outsider likes corvo more than he does daud. the way he speaks with corvo for starters, its like how you would speak to an acquaintance and he tells corvo little tidbits of info and stories. the way he speaks with daud almost sounds like he's just tired of him and doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. corvo's powers are also a fair bit better than dauds are - dauds also cost more runes. corvo gets dark vision which is better than dauds void gaze, dauds void gaze is only on par with it when you spend runes for an upgrade. it also has the heart built into it but it's like a weaker version of it. daud has to be close to the runes to see them with void gaze, meanwhile corvo can see the runes anywhere with the heart. dauds powers just seem a lot "harsher" i guess would be a better word to describe it. to me it just seems like the outsider favors corvo more than he does daud. what do you guys think? also a side question: doesn't the outsider care that daud and granny rags share their powers with others? i mean doesn't that negate the point of the outsider picking people he finds interesting? if these guys just hand their powers out to random people. Posted: 04 Oct 2019 10:20 PM PDT Was originally gonna do this for my boyfriend as he wanted to play through my dishonored collection, but I think the difficulty jump from Coldridge Prison in Corvo's story to the slaughterhouse in Daud's might be a little extreme for a beginner. So now I'm just curious - is there a cool way to play through the main story and then pepper the Knife of Dunwall / Brigmore Witches in at certain points?? [link] [comments]
Why are witches in this game so damn messy? Posted: 05 Oct 2019 08:09 AM PDT Emily/Corvo comes back after only a few months and the palace is a mess. The Brigmore mansion is also in shambles. How do they get everything so dirty so fast? [link] [comments]
Posted: 05 Oct 2019 12:44 AM PDT Poison food with a consumable non lethal and lethal versions ( could be bought on a black market and maybe used in a crossbow as an upgrade ) a button for calling enemies ( classic one) A grappler maybe , this one is personal but i would like to have a mid game pysical upgrade for a faster knockout with its own animations with quick martial arts like in metal gear or splinter cell and a faster knockout by grabbing. More non lethal weapons like a weapon that puts a cable in two spots that you decide and when an enemy Walks into it it grabs him or something . Ways to execute or grab from above like Batman using the grappler ( wich would make a lot of noise for balance reasons) a sleeping gas granade , a smoke granade for those Who dont care about ghost gameplay . And for powers the one i would LOVE is to be able to manipulate people to do things like controlling them as a character , that would add so much depth , imagine controlling a guard and then you drive him to a posioned food and then you eat it so the guard gets knocked down or you could Talk to other npc to get info by controlling others like bosses and stuff. I dont think there is nothing that doesnt fit dishonored or that is too op. Hope you like any of this ^ [link] [comments]
