What do you think of a game like Dishonored (maybe D3) on VR? Posted: 07 Jan 2020 12:49 PM PST I think it would add a whole lot to the already great immersion of the Dishonored games and make the powers much more interesting, though the movement may not be comfortable in VR. [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Jan 2020 12:18 AM PST So while waiting for Dishonored 3 (or whatever is next) what should I keep myself occupied with? I've played the bioshock series, havent finished system Shock 2 but to be fair I got side tracked with other games lol. Thief original I have yet to finish as well and Prey but didn't really get into it as much as i thought i would but im open to trying it again. So should I finish system shock 2? Thief? Try Prey again? Or what else do you all suggest? [link] [comments]

Just how varied are the endings? Also, wow. *spoilers* Posted: 06 Jan 2020 09:45 PM PST Just finished a low chaos run, blown away by the ending and the difference in the way I felt. Resisting the temptation to kill was absolutely worth it, it easily doubled my appreciation for the game! I felt accomplished and emotionally invested after rescuing Emily, whereas the high chaos ending had me feeling like a total jackass. It felt good to have the game congratulate you for taking your time and exercising restraint. I did rub out a few people, but I really tried to keep the body count down...maybe killed 6 people total. The Lord Regent was in his bedroom this time, so that just had to happen. Besides, I figured destroying his political career was simply not quite revenge enough. So he was the first I killed. Managed to get 7/9 of the way thru the game with 0 kills. Not bad. Other later casualties included granny rags (felt some loyalty to slackjaw after he took care of the Pendleton brothers for me), admiral havelock of course and a couple of weepers. So that's roughly 6 kills shy of a totally clean run. Close as I'm getting, next playthrough will be ghosting all missions but high chaos! Tl;dr i love the game. So I've read that there are two main endings but 3 variations on each or something to that effect. Can anyone shed more light on this? [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Jan 2020 04:11 PM PST Imagine that you got a puzzle DLC about Piero Joplin past - that was Opus Magnum became to me. I love the game presentation of alchemy and its alma mater the Imperial University to be so similar to the Academy of Natural Philosophy. I love the glimpses of Dunwall and Wrenhaven in its setting. I love that the potions we are challenged to create are almost the same which we used in Dishonored, and general aesthetics of the early 19th century steampunk. And I am totally in love with the main characters - dishonored Anataeus Vaya and revengeful Concordia Lem. The game is simply beautiful, and if you're starving for Dishonored-like setting, you might find it rewarding. [link] [comments] |
