- Old Man Teague Martin... Or at least, how I imagine he'd look if he survived Dishonored 1.
- 100% achievements across the series! Anyone else?
- So I had started Dishonored 2 right after 1 without realizing that I could buy the Definitive Edition and play the DLCs(yay!). Going back from D2 has made me appreciate the great improvement over D1.
- Almost all weapons in dishonored have whale oil involved.
- having some difficulty finding a good sens
- Very interesting fight between mechanical soldiers
- Interesting effect in [spoiler]
- So, the scene kinda glitched and he stood up, menacingly.
- How does one finish the final mission and still retain the ghost status?

Posted: 17 Jun 2020 01:15 PM PDT I only played 3 or 4 hours of Dishonored 2 as Emily before realizing I could actually play Knife of Dunwall and Brigmore Witches, which is awesome since I thought D1 was a PS3 game and I wouldnt be able to get the DLCs since I played on PSNow. I'm loving Daud and the story so far, and the change up of powers, but it's made me appreciate all of the great improvements for Dishonored 2. Stylistically and graphically I really love D2. The interfacing for missions/journal, the text, the way that objects you can pick up arent right in your face. It all lends itself to a somewhat more realistic and immersive experience. However, by FAR my favorite aspect of Dishonoured 2 is the increase in low chaos options. I absolutely loved how you could knock people out from above, instead of just killing them. And perhaps my favorite is that you can parry and perform a combat knockout! As a somewhat neurotic save scummer, having that option made me save a lot less and just enjoy the game and play it more naturally. I got spotted by guards in the first area when you need to escape to the ship, and I bolted, slid into someone, choked them out but couldnt finish in time so I threw the body at the two guards and staggered them, then Far Reached to a vent above and chilled while they looked for me. It was such a fun action sequence. Anyway, I'm still excited for the DLCs and the lore, and am playing more casually in an effort to have a more seamless run. First game I would save religiously, reload, and spent a lot of time looking at the load screens. It just made me appreciate how awesome they improvement is for D2. I cant beleive I'd never played Dishonored all these years, its instantly become a new favorite. I'm all aboard the hype train for D3 on PS5, which I hope will come eventually. I can only imagine how good it will be. Edit: Daud has some awesome stealth maneuvers. The stop time Blink is badass. That, combined with his insane jump, has been a lot of fun. I can even blink behind people and choke them out. [link] [comments]
Almost all weapons in dishonored have whale oil involved. Posted: 16 Jun 2020 10:42 PM PDT Probably obvious because the whole economy of Dunwall is centered around it, but every weapon other than Crossbow/wristbow bolts, sleep darts, swords and springrazors has whale oil as a power source. This may seem very obvious for things like bullets and explosive bolts, but even things like Daud's chokedust are described as, "A metal canister filled with unrefined whale oil. On contact, it releases a noxious cloud that temporarily disables enemies." Just thought that was an interesting little bit to share. [link] [comments]
having some difficulty finding a good sens Posted: 17 Jun 2020 03:37 PM PDT i play on ps4 sadly no pc yet but what is the best sensitivity i cant really find it due to how fast it ramps up also combat tips would also be helpful too [link] [comments]

Interesting effect in [spoiler] Posted: 16 Jun 2020 07:52 PM PDT In crack in the slab, various actions can cause the present to change. This includes breaking the statue in the vault, destroying the corpse of the dog, and saving stilton. By doing any of these, you change the present in some way. As far as I can tell, only one of them has an animation. The statue, as you can relatively easily set off the change while looking through the time piece, the statue flickers into a new position on the present. However, the dog corpse change is meant to occur with you looking at a button, away from what is changing. And with stilton, it was likely expected that he would be knocked unconscious in a way which could not have a delay, so no time would be left to swap over to the time piece. However, by using a stun mine, or some other method that can be activated remotely, you can save him and watch the present change. In this case, it is instant.(side mention. If you want to test this a bit more easily, having cheats set up to let to use spells can allow you to set up the mine and have plenty of time to open your time piece) Finally, transitioning before the remote change to the past occurs forces everything to remain as they were until you transition between maps or times again [link] [comments]

How does one finish the final mission and still retain the ghost status? Posted: 16 Jun 2020 05:41 PM PDT Because i just finished the game in low chaos as corvo, no kills, but i've been spotted a total of 17 times through the game. So i wasn't particularly going for a ghostly run, however i was confused as to how to defeat delilah at the end when she summons those replicas and you're insta-spotted. If anyone could shed some light on this i'd appreciate it. [link] [comments] |
