    Was messing around with the shopkeep using far reach until this happened. Apparently he's just unconscious. ( sorry for bad quality).

    A while back I made a spin off of the Outsider's mark, somehow I forgot to post it here at the time.

    Also it's not a self promotion or something so i'll not share any links but the video itself using the native Reddit video reader as the rule wants it, if someone think the post should be deleted i'll do it

    Enjoy !

    Just Finished Dishonored 2 and Thought It Would Be Fun to Share Some Ideas About Different Takes on the Game

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 10:57 AM PST

    I beat the game with Emily, on Hard. I did it on Low Chaos after 17h49m of playtime.

    Since I consider myself to be a creative person, I often like to think about a game I just beat and "self-propose" changes on levels, characters, mechanics etc. It's not necessarily about things that I think would be better, just different possibilities. I'll start, feel free to talk about your own ideas, too:

    • A buff to the Nest Keeper: as soon as he detected you, his cry would send the surrounding bloodflies into a more dangerous frenzy. If there were only a couple of flies around him, they would bite you really fast for moderate damage. If an entire swarm was present, they would cause very high damage (even possibly one-shotting you);
    • Addition of a "poison" type of damage. Your health would decrease over a moderate period of time. Consuming several pieces of food quickly would heal the poison. Alternatively, you could spend a single Health Elixir to get rid of it. Possible sources of Poison: noxious vapors conjured by the witches, small chance from a bloodfly attack etc;
    • A different setting and context for the Crown Killer showdown. After attacking the patient, she would escape into a secluded, dark area of the Institute. You would have to battle or stalk her in some kind of "old attic", with limited vision with her being prone to ambushing you if you were not careful/unaware of the tells for her traps;
    • A single, evolved type of Clockwork Soldier would be activated by Jindosh to defend him, unless you eliminated him without him even knowing you were in the mansion (which is hard, there's even an achievement for that) - let's call it Clockwork Guardian. This Guardian would be taller, much more perceptive and able to attack you on sight not only with multiple blades but also with explosive ammunition, and rocket-propelled body slams and charges. If one wanted to go even further with this idea, the Guardian could even been made to allow for Jindish to personally man the machine, presenting us with a very different target to eliminate - possible to stealthily eliminate in 2 or 3 steps or directly, with heavy weaponry;
    • The Witches would have very different appearances that would signal, to a perceptive player, the types of magic they used and whether they could be using protective Bonecharms or not. Additionally, using the Heart on a Witch would give the player hints about those specific powers - a Bonecharm-carrying Witch could have a certain subtle "glow" near their heart or waist, indicating something mystical deposited on a pocket; Green-toned Witches would be able to conjure poison clouds that would force you to retreat (I'm case you were detected), so they could regroup and better defend themselves; Witches with blackened faces and eyes wide open could briefly animate corpses to serve as additional "sentinels" and weaker fodder (in case they had to fight you), etc.;
    • The presence of an actual abomination made by Raw Whitebone (some Witches were talking about this possibility during the final mission and it really intrigued me);
    • An extended final sequence against Delilah in the Void, exploring a bit more of the future projected by her.

    Felt like channeling a little StealthGamerBR while playing Dishonored last night.

    The plan worked better in my head.

    [Help] Dishonored definitive edition

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 09:57 AM PST

    So i'm doing low chaos on dishonored 1 and trying to get achievements like clean hands, flesh and steel, shadow and ghost in one playthrough. However i have a few questions. First of all, it occured that at the end of mission 1 the kill counter said 1 (and i don't know why since i didn't kill anyone) so instead of clicking "continue" i clicked on "replay mission", so not from chapter select. If i do that, do i lose my clean hands trophy? And also, on mission 2 it said that i triggered one alarm, however it still gave me the ghost objective at the end of the mission, does it mean that i can still achieve ghost and shadow trophies despite the alarm? Thanks in advance.

    Does dishonored 1 work on windows 10?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2020 08:03 AM PST

    I saw people saying it crashes at startup and I wish to buy it. Will it work on my PC if I have widows 10?

    I never understood this: Why are the city guards suddenly your enemy? They are bros to start

    Posted: 30 Dec 2020 05:28 PM PST

    I mean, they are your comrades during the first 5 minutes, but suddenly gaining super powers makes them evil for some reason. This thought really hit home for me the first time I heard 'You made somebody a widow, damn you'.
