    Hello I m playing Dishonered 2 and you know you can use the heart to get information about the person you using the heart on so if someone hurts innocents can I kill them and if I do does this will rise chaos?

    Deathloop is Secretly Dishonored 3 (theory)

    When I first saw the Deathloop original announcement trailer I thought it was Dishonored 3. Throughout the whole marketing campaign I've always wondered if they might be in the same world as Dishonored. As of right now, I think the odds are low but I thought I would share the similarities between the two and why I wouldn't doubt that it is some giant reveal in the end.

    1. They said the next Dishonored would not take place in the same era as the first two games and will focus on different characters.     2. The mechanics of the game really haven't changed, you have weapons and you try to take out targets. "What about the chaos system?" Well, they got rid of it for the Death of the Outsider DLC so its not impossible for them to come out with a game without it.
    3. The snow island of Blackrief could be one of the islands off of Tyvia, which is a snowy continent in Dishonored which is one of the locations we haven't been to before.
    4. The Outisder is gone in Dishonored Universe now, one way or another, these slabs and trinkets and who knows, the whole time-loop could be connected to the Void. The end of Death of the Outsider even says that the void is running around free now without a god in its place, maybe this project for a time-loop is harvesting void energy and the slabs are how people use powers now. Even the animations for the abilities kind of look like the rocks in the void in D2 and DotO.
    5. The new time period makes sense, they said it would be in a new era for Dishonored 3, and this is a new era that we haven't seen before. They had robots (clockwork soldiers) in Dishonored 2, a full gun Dishonored (with a machete) isn't impossible.
    6. THIS COULD BE A SPOILER FOR DEATHLOOP

    They made it almost too easy to figure out that Colt used to be one of the main people helping the time-loop project on the island, everyone calls him a traitor and he even has the title of "captain." In one of the game informer gameplay Ramblin Frank says that he used to look up to colt. So, my point is Dishonored is about being dishonored from your position, colt obviously was, on purpose or for other reasons. He is now taking revenge or vengeance to stop this loop. If this was called "Dishonored 3" I wouldn't doubt that plot for a second.

    1. Bone Charms are basically in the game in the form of trinkets.

    2. every time they get asked if this is Dishonored 3 they never flat out say "No, this is a new IP" They kind of cleverly answer it.

    Now the biggest reason I see this game not being Deathloop is that if they wanted to sell a Dishonored 3 they wouldn't make it console exclusive and they would sell it under the name of "Dishonored" because that would draw in more people and make them more money. There is no need for a clever name change.

    Even though I think the chances are low of this being Dishonored 3 I wouldn't doubt it if it was eventually revealed that it takes place in the same world. However, I hope that Dishonored 3 does come out soon.

    Question about Dishonored the definitive edition on ps5

    Xbox series X input lag?

    my dad just got dishonored 2 on the xbox series X and for some reason he has immense amounts of input lag. i'm talking 300-500 ms. does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?
