Quick question, when you take Breanna's powers away, all the witches fall unconscious, and the ones that fall from heights die, does this count against clean hands?

Which one is easier to do; taking out the Overseers or the Howlers?

    Posted: 12 Nov 2021 01:51 PM PST

I'm playing Dishonored 2 by my way of randomized hardcore rules. According to the randomization, I have to be sneaky/guns ablazing and pacifist/murdering psycho, and the mission stats at the end of the mission determines whether I've passed the mission or not (also permadeath too).

The question is, I'm at the mission where I have to infiltrate Aramis Stilton's house, and I'm wondering whether if taking out the Overseers or the Howler gang would be easier and less risky depending on the sneaky/guns ablazing and pacifist/murderer approach.

    What is your opinion?

Are Dishonored 1 and 2 Mission Select feature same as Doom's?

    Posted: 12 Nov 2021 10:35 AM PST

So if i wanna get something done on a mission that i couldnt do it for the first time but in the mean time continue the story, can I use mission select from Main Menu do or get whatever I want and then continue where I left off? And world changes according to that?

Like I killed to many and its high chaos, returned to home anyway continuing the story, can I quit, do the mission accordingly without killing someone or try a new route, will my present time story continue where I left off or change accordingly?

In Doom we could play the level again to get whatever we miss, but Dishonored system is more complex than that I believe so I had to ask.

And also I would like to ask, after searching in google Ive found that game counts the kills from a level to calculate chaos. What is level exactly? Is it mission only or an area in the whole city? Like Kill campbell mission we start under a bridge (I forgot the name of the place) and Kill Twins in Golden Cat mission is also starting around the same place. If I killed a lot people in Campbell mission, will it affect Golden Cat mission?

(SPOILERS FOR DISHONORED 1) Is Geoff Curnow counted as dead if I knock him out with a sleep dart? He aggro’d when I tried to get to High Overseer Campbell so I tranquilized him, and when I got back to the Hound Pits Pub Callista said this.

    Dishonored 2 stupid plothole

Emily is 25 in Dishonored 2. In the mission crack in the slab she's given the ability to go back in time 3 years. 3 years in to the past she's the empress and Corvo is the Royal Protector.

This poses the very important question: Why the hell did we just do all that sneaking around (or mass murder if you're doing high chaos)?

Things that could've been done instead

    1. Knock on the front door and say you're making a social visit 54 doesn't look that different than 51 (Corvo) and 22 doesn't look THAT different than 25 (Emily) you're the royal protector and empress respectively just literally walk inside
    2. Straight up just do number one and talk to Stilton. Right then and there Corvo or Emily could've given him the tools to prove that Jindosh and Duke Luca were plotting against the empire. The whole story could've been averted
    3. Let's say you want to ignore the idea that as the empress or royal protector you could've just literally peacefully walked inside well you could've just as easily placed a bunch of razor wire traps throughout the mansion so that Luca and Jindosh can't leave without dying even if you can only personally see them in the weird warped space. Killing both of them would've made the whole situation infinitely easier.
