Anyone feel like dishonored needs some monster missions

    Posted: 05 Nov 2021 02:19 PM PDT

The void and magick make monsters like;vampires, demons, ghosts plausible.

Obviously arkane would give there own special twist to the trope making them fit the universe.

    Demons would be void spirits.

Vampires would be people who were marked by the void and they hunger for mana or they could practice some blood magick unrelated to the void.

Ghosts could be ghosts because they already kinda fit the grim universe.

Hell the game could do with even more monstrous creatures like imagine a mission set on a ship where you have to fight a kraken or hell even ghost pirates.

Imagine a mission where a vampire who gains mana from taking damage so the more you hit it the more magic it could use.

I just feel like dishonored human only mobs kinda limit its potential.

    modding, changing models/textures/animations

    Posted: 05 Nov 2021 02:43 AM PDT

I want to know if there is a way to extract models/textures/animations from dishonored, completely change them (with a program like blender), and insert them back into the game. Absolutely any help would be appreciated.

Do you think a Open World Setting would ruin Dishonored?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2021 06:19 PM PDT

Now I know Dishonored Is "Open" but I would call it semi open

So my question is would a open world ruin it?

Like you could go in the entire town of karnaca then travel by sea to Dunwall then to the other countries like it would be amazing and the amount of creativity could be amazing like imagine you have a job to assasinate someone in dunwall then you have a whiskey and cigars with the boys in Karnaca

Like there is so much variety that could be done with just opening the entire world to you(or at least the entire city without no loading screens

(Dishonored 2) Which group is the most annoying to you?

Would Dishonored 2 be better off without multiple protagonists?

    Posted: 04 Nov 2021 07:04 PM PDT

I know this is something that's been discussed before, but I've gotten back to thinking about Dishonored 2 and how the story was executed. While I love both Corvo and Emily's powers and what they bring to Dishonored 2, I'm starting to think that the overall plot of the game suffered by allowing the player to choose who the protagonist is.

If Dishonored 2 was a single protagonist story, I feel like the writers could have taken a lot more creative liberties as to where the plot went and we wouldn't have gotten such a flat final product like we did in reality (also we might have seen a return of having a silent protagonist which is definitely my preference).

For those who want 2 protagonists just for the sake of NG+ and having a larger power sandbox, I think it's reasonable to assume Arkane could still implement Corvo's skillset into 2 as a feature of NG+ even if he wasn't a playable character.
