Dishonored ��

Title says it all really, I'd originally played Dishonored 2 on console, hated it because of the performance and awful gamepad controls but still played the hell out of it because it was more dishonored, then got it on PC, controls were better but due to the awful optimization the performance suffered. Strangely enough though, after upgrading to Windows 11, I get perfectly smooth 120 across the board.

I expected this to just boost my overall enjoyment of the game, and it did, but unexpectedly, something else just clicked for me. I feel like I "get" all the new additions to Dishonored 2 now that I'm playing it the way I imagine the game was intended to be played as. I was always a Corvo purist and always preferred his powers over Emily's but now I find myself becoming much more interested in and attached to Emily's skillset. It's a very strange experience but in a way I feel like I'm actually able to approach this game the way it always wanted me to, I find myself actually becoming invested in Karnaca as a setting and I'm having fun experimenting with all the systems at play and all the interesting locales.

I don't know, I know this is just a personal rant but I wanted to share in hopes someone like me who never really loved the sequel that much might find hope that there's a chance they'll come to love it.

Question about "no powers" mode.

I recently completed a really fun and pretty challenging run on DH2 (Clean hands/ghost on the hardest difficulty) and thought I'd treat myself afterwords to a new game plus run, but unfortunately it's just not tickling the same itch in terms of difficulty, so I've decided to try a "no powers" run (Also considering playing without the HUD). But first I have a couple of questions.

Does "no powers" include spending your runes on passive upgrades (Like agility etc) and using bone charms? And can you still use the heart? And are there mechanically any differences between playing as Covro or Emily?

What side character in the Dishonored universe do think would be interesting to play as in a spin off game? Personally I think it'd be cool to play as Mindy Blanchard she came across as such a cool strong female character in D2 and from everything you can learn about her from the heart I just think it'd be fascinating to delve into her story further.

Help - Game freezes my whole PC

Game runs well until I reach the cutscene where the empress is killed by those warp-men. As soon as one of them blocks me with (apparently) the Force, screen goes black, sound is fucked up and after a few seconds my monitor and my keyboard get automatically disconnected, and my only solution is to turn my PC off from the power button.

I already tried updating drives of GPU, controlling the game files on steam, setting it to windowed mode; but nothing works
