    An Ode to Redirective Blink

My s/o, who introduced me to the series when he preordered D2, gifted me the first game for Christmas.

While exploring the Golden Cat, I had my plan of attack ALL sorted until I realized I hadn't upgraded to redirective blink yet (... poor little naive u/gwendash). When I couldn't find it in the powers menu, I panicked and exclaimed 'UM, why can't I stop time when blinking!?'

My bf responded from the other room, 'Welcome to the real world'

Miss you, Redirective Blink. I'm going to feel so privileged when I return to D2.

Playing through D1 with DLCs mixed in

I'm planning to do a canon playthrough of the series and I'd like to logically implement Daud's story in the main campaign (instead of playing it after completing the story). What's, in your opinion, is the best moment in the campaign to start DLCs?

Just finished the Daud dlc's...wow (spoilers, also 1 quick question)

I've encountered some worthwhile dlc in my time. Honorable mentions that spring to mind would be Fallout New Vegas' odd world blues and lonesome road, skyrim's dawnguard and dragonborn, arkham city's catwoman shenanigans, etc.

    But this

    This

This was so worth my time. I might honestly prefer playing as Daud. The level design was also amazing. Brigmore manor was breathtaking. If these 6 missions had been released as a SEQUEL I would praise it. I absolutely cannot wait to play through it again. I'll probably go for low chaos this time around. I've played through D1 main game about 5 times now and ive only had the game for a month if that. I'm blown away. The dlc gave me more appreciation for the base game as well.

I do have one question. In the high chaos ending of the base game, when Emily turns evil at the end, is this because she is possessed by Delilah?
