In death of the outsider in the first mission , when you rescue daud , he kills everyone around you before blinking himself out of the place he's been kept in . Does anyone know about any lore to what power he used before he blinked up to kill everyone in the room?

I find it extremely annoying that Dishonored 1 gives you a ton of gadgets/powers/abilities, yet the game actively encourages you to NOT use your lethal methods. It seems like such a contradiction to me.

Anyone else feel the same? Like you're given all of these cool powers and gadgets primarily used for killing people, yet in order to get the best ending, you basically have to kill nobody.

It's so frustrating going for the low chaos route know that I can't use ANYTHING except for my sleep darts. It doesn't help that the game's combat is so fucking satisfying, sometimes I can't help but quick save and go on a brutal rampage and then reload the save.

At the risk of sounding like a complete fucking psycho, I just want to kill guards and not have the game judge me for it. It pains me to see Samuel so disappointed in you in the High chaos ending too. He's 100% right, I was barbaric, but how can he blame me when the game makes the act of killing so much fun?

Advice on 100% Dishonored 1 DLC?

    Posted: 14 Jan 2020 04:00 PM PST

So I have been running through my games trying to get all the trophies for fun. I have gotten all of them the the main game of Dishonored and the two DLC with Daud. But I was looking through the Trails DLC and cannot even begin to wrap my mind on how to get some of the trophies. Does anyone has any advice, tricks, or maybe even cheats that could help?

    Some thoughts on Dishonored 2

You ever think about how apparently there was no one loyal enough to Emily/Corvo to help them out at the beginning and throughout the game? Like no one (except Alexi, and she lasted a second) was loyal enough to call bull shit on the coup, and it took Delilah like 5 minutes to seize the throne, and no one except the Abbey contested her rule (and they only did so because Delilah was a witch, and probably not out of loyalty to their Empress)?

And to add to that fact, Emily seemed like a fairly benevolent leader. According to newspaper articles, she actually seemed to give a shit about her people and tried to help out the lower class. And all the Empress of the whole freaking Isles had on her side was the woman who helped murder her mother, and an old inventor who really couldn't do shit.

Also, Corvo being the Royal Protector, Spymaster, father to the Empress (and most likely Lord Regent at some point earlier in Emily's reign)? What's up with that? There is no way one man can effectively and successfully do all of those jobs. Where were their allies? I understand that High Overseer Yul Khulan was described as kind, but he was still described as primarily loyal to the Abbey above all else.

Maybe I am missing something, or the developers just didn't care enough to show any sort of assistance to the royal family/resistance to Delilah and her people in the game. But the whole situation really is odd.

    Sokolov painting help.

    Posted: 13 Jan 2020 07:19 PM PST

So I'm going on my platinum run of dishonored currently and I am at the Boyle party collecting the paintings and as I go to get the second painting (the one across from the red bed) it's not there. There is a painting there but it's a completely different painting than the sokolov one. I've looked up guides and everything but I'm lost. Any help?

Edit: I found it but it wasn't across from the red bed as many guides had said. It was beside the black bed by the door. Weird.
