[Dishonored 1] Why can enemies detect me during Bend Time II? Posted: 12 Mar 2020 06:35 AM PDT I'm replaying Dishonored for the n'th time and have encountered a strange issue. Enemies aren't supposed to be able to be alerted or detect you at all when you've stopped time using Bend Time level 2, yet I've had enemies alerted when using Bend Time 2 despite quickly vanishing before the duration is over. I can tell because I have failed to get the "Didn't Alert Anyone" check because of this, I hear the combat music after killing people during Bend Time II, and enemies often don't turn to ash during Bend Time II despite the fact that I have Shadow Kill I, which is supposed to turn them to ash if they didn't detect me. Why is this? [link] [comments]

Are any of the Dishonored games on Nintendo switch? Posted: 12 Mar 2020 03:23 AM PDT Long story short, I'm getting a nintendo switch in a couple weeks, and I want to be able to play the dishonored games properly. My pc is old so game play is so bad, glitch as hell, and I wanna play it on switch. I just wanna know if it can be done, as Google produced no help. Also I port in this subreddit way to much (just a side note, does anyone know if any of the persona games are on switch? Know it's not dishonored related but no harm in asking) [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Mar 2020 12:47 PM PDT Am I the only one disappointed that Piero's Door to Nowhere didn't end up actually doing anything? I would like to have gained a power after defeating Daud that let me use a portal like that to rescue Piero and Sokolov or somesuch. I mean, I know what it referenced, but it still would have been cool... [link] [comments]

Is there a way to actually 100% the chapter "A Captain of Industry" in Knife of Dunwall? Posted: 12 Mar 2020 01:12 AM PDT Hello, I am currently in the middle of 100%-ing all of Dishonored and I got a bit stuck on the mission "A Captain of Industry" in the Knife of Dunwall DLC. I am missing the 500 coins you get from helping Abigail Ames in blowing up the slaughterhouse, which (correct me if I'm wrong) I believe would kill everyone inside meaning I would loose the "Didn't Kill Anyone" checkmark. So do I have to choose between loosing the checkmark and 1553/2053 coins? Or is there some way to either get the coins without blowing up the slaughterhouse or just blowing it up without killing anyone inside? Thanks in advance for the replies! [link] [comments]

Recommend me games like dishonored, with a twist. Posted: 12 Mar 2020 01:05 AM PDT The plague thing must absolutely be included in. I am looking for games where the world is suffering from plague/epidemic/pandemic but that is more of a side quest thing rather than the whole focus of the plot. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Mar 2020 06:14 PM PDT If you are reading this then you must have time on your hands, want to hear about my origin to Dishonored, or some other reason. Whatever your reason may be I thank you for taking the time to hear my story and hope you enjoy, feel free to comment your story in the comments! It all started one day (I dont remember the weather or anything like that) my friend was over. We were playing video games and I told him I had enough money to pre order a game on the PS store (this was before I got serious about collecting games so the PS4 store was one of my primary places for purchasing games). As I was looking through the pre order list I found Watch Dogs 2, I am a HUGE fan of the open world genre so Watch Dogs 2 was my obvious choice, however, he saw that there was a second Dishonored game yet to be released and he told me to pre order it. He had played the first one so he already knew it was good whereas I have never even seen the game in my life. I was willing to hear him out as to why I should pick a new game over Watch Dogs 2 and he was not doing too well at explaining the exciting factors of the game. In a last attempt to get me to pre order Dishonored 2 we looked at the pictures, this is were my interest plummeted, I was not liking the art style, all the guards had the weirdest and ugliest faces! So I ultimately picked Watch Dogs 2. Now if this were the end that would be sad but I assure you it gets better. Fast forward to Christmas that same year and I asked for Dishonored 2 (only because the cover looked cool), I got the limited edition which came with Dishonored 1; I began to play both, a little of each, barely got far in either, and deleted both off of my PS4 (traded in Dishonored 2). It was still the art style but this time it was also the health and magic tonics that killed my interest. It was LONG after that that I either saw a movie, got into Htman and other stealth games, or something with powers that made me think about the short time I had played Dishonored 1&2, I began to want to try the first one out again THANKFULLY it was downloaded so I didnt have to re pay for it. I resumed where I had left off previously but this time finished the game with the bad ending! Knowing there was a second ending I HAD to play again, the moment I finished my second playthrough I couldn't wait I went the very next day to buy the second one. I then got both endings for both Corvo and Elizabeth then left AGAIN to buy Death of the Outsider (and beat it). I now am currently looking forward to any other Dishonored games that may come out. The End Thank you for taking the time to read! [link] [comments] |
