    Ending to Dishonored 1:

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 02:38 PM PDT

I just finished the first game and I loved it. DH2 is already downloading.

I finished with high chaos (killed all targets, butchered everyone at the boyle party, etc...) and also accidentally killed emily at the end...

What was your favorite ending and why?

Also how do they go about having Emily live in the second game if I killed her here?

Also... should I replay this later as a low chaos/no killing run?

Anyone else pick up on the game's assumption of a lethal play style?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 11:48 AM PDT

In the beginning of Dishonored 2, Emily is narrating the past and she mentions how Corvo cut his way through their enemies, assuming the previous game was a lethal play through. Her attitude for this game is also one of aggression in how she says she's not sure whether or not to have everyone in the palace executed. She also says she's going to get what was taken from her, "even if I have to burn this city to the ground" in reference to Carnaka.

Obviously the narrative of what Corvo did in the past is a little more black and white than her comments in the second game, but still, I've always been of the opinion that the game is geared more toward lethality rather than the other way around. Obvious each person's playstyle is their own, but still, it's interesting, no?

Do the guards know about the hypatia?

    Posted: 18 Apr 2020 02:18 AM PDT

Just a question without spoiling to much but do the guards and staff at the building with hypatia know about her condition?
