At my 3rd playthrough I noticed something Posted: 22 Jun 2020 02:43 PM PDT In a speech between Cecilia and Wallace, Wallace berating Cecilia for not knowing how to curtsy. And when Emily came to pub, she is the only servant who isn't greeting her. I love this game. https://imgur.com/a/MIyIx7o [link] [comments]

Emily should have worn her father's mask Posted: 22 Jun 2020 09:59 AM PDT Her face cover looks real cool with the eyes sticking out (and those eyebrows damn), but Corvo's mask is in the vault anyway if you pick him so it would have made perfect sense. I get how they wanted to distinguish their two characters/playstyles but I think she just gets a telescope and there aren't any other real changes. Also you can't beat the symbolism of Emily literally taking on the mantle of her father as it's her turn to save her Empire [link] [comments]

[Spoilers] Lore Questions (about Jessamine and the Outsider) Posted: 22 Jun 2020 07:23 AM PDT Why is Jessamine Kaldwin Special? I think both Daud and the outsider mentioned it that there is something special about Jessamine but it was never revealed, what is so special about Jessamine? also, why does Jessamine have many links with those with the Mark? iirc, the outsider mentioned that he has given 8 marks (forgot if it was on D1 DLCs or D2) and out of those 8 marks half of them is linked to Jessamine, Granny Rags also has it if what I remembered was correct (about the 8 marks) I watched the noclip documentary a while ago, I was wondering if the plot was rushed because of the shift in theme (from japanese to french) [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Jun 2020 12:33 PM PDT hey there,is there any mod for dishonored 2 to make the game more brutal? i really like that way im killing people but i want shit like if i attack a dead body i can cut a piece from it and that kind of thing [link] [comments]
Not sure what I'm missing with Jindosh' riddle (Dishonored 2) Posted: 22 Jun 2020 12:05 PM PDT I've been trying to solve this for about a good hour or so now, and I'm truly lost as to what I'm missing here. Here's the riddle, my result and methodolody. As far as I know, the colours and first three trinkets conclusions for Marccelo, Finch and Conte are correct. I've tried switching the ones for the last two, to no avail. If someone could help me out, either finding the bit I'm missing or clarifying if I've maybe encountered a bug - I'd be seriously grateful. [link] [comments]
Daud is canonically alive up through DOTO, but Corvo would have killed him in D1. Posted: 22 Jun 2020 06:05 AM PDT I was thinking about this yesterday playing through Dishonored 1. You come face to face with the man who stabbed the Empress you were charged with protecting, and your lover and the mother of your child, the man who also kidnapped your child, and you let him go? Any parent would have murdered Daud without even listening to what he had to say. I understand that Arkane was pushing their narrative of a good/bad dichotomy, and the story that has followed Daud in the DLCs has been excellent, but I have to say that this detail bothers me. Need Helping Naming a Dishonored-Esque D&D Campaign. Posted: 21 Jun 2020 08:24 PM PDT Hey r/dishonored! I've been working a long time on a D&D world that has a very "Dishonored 1" aesthetic (minus the plague, just think the way Dunwall looks), and have currently been using the name "Grime and Grandeur" for referring to the campaign - the problem, that's quite a mouthful. I was wondering if you had any alternate suggestions for naming a world of this style? EDIT: Equally useful would be an idea on how to turn the name "Grime and Grandeur" into a cool logo for the campaign. I already tried the Dishonored logo idea (using the I to create the border, as there is no H), but that ended up FAR too long. [link] [comments] |
