Is dishonoured the coolest video game ever made? Posted: 21 Sep 2020 03:33 PM PDT When I grew up I always dreamed of being magic, the fact I'd never get to be magic took years to accept and it was genuinely hard to accept, but eventually I realised I would never get to experience magic. Then I played dishonoured. Sure games like GTA and mirrors edge are very cool, but they're still just video games. Dishonoured on the other hand, gives you a genuine taste of what it would be like to be god in a human body walking on earth. Bit of a rant haha but my point is it's so cool, it has completely satisfied the potential of a first person game. Are there any other games that are as cool? I doubt it. [link] [comments]

What is your favourite feature in dishonoured? Posted: 21 Sep 2020 08:38 AM PDT There is too many to chose from. You have the superb level design. The fantastically written cults (abbey of the Everyman, the eyeless etc). You have intriguing lore Great characters (daud, corvo etc) The Chaos system. For me, it would have to be the chaos system. The fact the world changes based on my actions is really cool. Hearing the more cynical dialogue. In D2 hearing about how cynical corvo becomes, how the level changes, guard chatter etc. These games have everything. It's too hard to choose [link] [comments]
Why didn't Samuel warn Low-Chaos Corvo ? Posted: 20 Sep 2020 05:23 PM PDT Now, I understand that Havelock and co. were forcing him to poison Corvo's glass (kinda convoluted, couldn't they have done it themselves) and watching him do it, but during the ride back home after Burrows' death/arrest, wouldn't it have been possible for Sam, supposedly the moral pillar of the Loyalists AND OUR FRIEND, to at least warn us that the shady, power hungry schemers were up to no good ? I mean, LC Corvo is practically a super hero at this point, going around Dunwall and righting wrongs like a victorian Batman with magic powers. Samuel should not only trust and respect him (like he clearly does in his final speech), but also trust his ability to take care of Havelock, Pendleton and Martin without putting the others in danger. One Bend Time and they're all taken care of, Emily is safe and can now become Empress without further troubles (at least until Delilah comes back). While we're nitpicking, what's up with leaving Corvo in the Flooded District (My favorite level, but still) ? Of all the possible locations to leave a weak, poisoned Corvo in, the assassin lair controlled by his arch-nemesis who also has the same magic powers ? Why not just keep him on the boat, or hide him close to the Hound Pits, or put him literally anywhere else ? [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Sep 2020 02:17 PM PDT I quickly figured i could use the train to sneak past but wondering if i should actually use it seeing as how easy it was and that im kinda missing out on content. I am also planning to do a no detection run maybe but should i head back? Would i be missing much? [link] [comments]

PS3 - do non-goty save files of Dishonored 1 work with the GOTY edition? Posted: 21 Sep 2020 01:06 AM PDT Question is basically in the title; I'm keen to upgrade for the DLC included with the GOTY, but I'd like to know if the save files are compatible. If not, I'm better off putting the money towards just buying the DLC off PSN. [link] [comments]
Anyone else worried about Microsoft buying Bethesda? Posted: 21 Sep 2020 07:02 AM PDT Because Bethesda has some great games and franchises under their belt, the entire Dishonored series, Prey (2017), The Evil Within 1 and 2, Doom, Wolfenstein, Fallout, Elder Scrolls, and more. I'm worried Microsoft will have a lot of people fired, and any subsequent games won't be the same. [link] [comments]
