Playing Through The Series, If I'm Spotted I Restart The Entire Game.

    Posted: 14 May 2021 01:08 PM PDT

For some reason I recently go the itch to play Dishonored again after last playing it in 2017. I have the achievements and have played the game high and low chaos and done a whole bunch of different things, so this time I decided that if I was going to play the game, I would never be seen or else I'd restart the game from Coldridge's Cell, all the while on Very Hard difficulty.

I spent 26 runs going through the main game, 24-ish going through Knife of Dunwall and about 8 for Brigmore Witches.

What I've learned, is that you really can't play the game the way you usually do it, no stealing from Doctor Galvani in the first mission as that just adds a bit of time to a run and gives the enemies a few chances of spotting you. Bone Charms have proven to be rather worthless, they're fun to collect usually, but unless you're lucky and the few that are easy to collect have to do with Mana they don't have worth.

Runes meanwhile, you'll be wanting to collect every single one. As you want to get Time Stop asap, as a few moments in some missions prove to be a bit easier. Upgrading Darkvision and Blink, then Agility are worthwhile somewhat as DV lets you plan your routes better and make sure you know where people are, Blink and Agility are purely for ease of traversing the map.

Knife of Dunwall, is basically the opposite haha, Void Gaze and Blink are the go to's for upgrades as traversing the levels is just made much easier with those. VG is a must as enemies will just be completely annoying. Plus, if you go to collect every Rune then you can get TIme Stop by the time you get to Daud's room. Plus, bonecharms are somewhat useful, there are enough scattered around the map that are easy enough to get to so Daud can pick them up without any extra annoyance.

Brigmore Witches was the easiest as going into it with a save from KoD meant you're already fully upgraded, you can actually stealth through the DLC in just 30min. Not too many tips or suggestions for Brigmore, just keep using mana potions like no tomorrow as you'll be able to either buy or find enough potions for it to not matter.

Overall, Time Stop has been my bff, I've actually been drinking my mana potions instead of waiting to recharge, and sleep darts are god.

I'm on to Dishonored 2 next and I'm not sure what path to go in terms of abilities, but it will be fun.

When is it too late to get the low chaos ending in Dishonored 2?

    Posted: 14 May 2021 09:34 AM PDT

There was no kills in Mission 4 and the chaos is still high in Mission 5
