I’m finally playing Dishonored after seeing gameplay of it for a while and hearing such high praise of it. Considering the fact that that I have a phobia of rats, f*ck.
Has anyone seen this underneath the Mansion or is it just me?

I just beat Dishonored 1 for the first time... and I thought this game was bad beforehand!

i’ve probably played every Dishonored game over 100 times.
ive redone the list of whos best and whos worst
Attempting Ghost, Shadow, Surgical, and Mostly Flesh and Steel on Very Hard in one go - any major tips or not commonly known helpful ideas?
Does starting a New game+ effect the ability to gain achievements in Dishonored 2?
I noticed that Slackjaw is dressed like a Hatter for some reason. What do you guys think?
Anyone else think "Dung-wall" while playing this game?
Is there any special reason to do Clean Hands through DOTO?

Cool Fact about Kirin Jindosh when playing as Corvo

If playing as Corvo, Jindosh will comment on Corvo's mask saying how it was made by Piero Joplin but was not made alone and that there's another style in it that he does not recognize. This style he doesn't recognize is referring to the Outsider as the Outsider influenced Piero in his dreams to create Corvo's mask by showing him a visage of Death itself which is shown in one of the Tales from Dunwall shorts. A very cool niche easter egg not many would pick up on. Love the details in this game.

I just beat Dishonored 1 for the first time... and I thought this game was bad beforehand!

This game was INCREDIBLE. It was so atmospheric and I love the steampunk setting, I fell in love with this steampunk vibe - it's industrial yet so technologically advanced. I never thought it would have been such a good combination.

I heard about this game many years back, but never played it because I thought it looked boring and crap, but I was so so wrong. Playing it and completing my first playthrough - the story was awesome, the gameplay was fun and always challenging and the graphics have this specific cartoony art style which works and fits well in the city of Dunwall.

Whilst the story is a little short since you can beat the game in like 6 hours if you just follow the main objectives - there are so much more things you can do within each of the missions plus you can redo a mission but in a different approach like stealth. For my playthrough - I mainly used a ton of sleep darts and choking, I didn't really kill that many people - so I think I got the low chaos ending since there's multiple endings in the game.

The game almost felt like I was playing Half-Life 2 except it's more old-timey, the ending of Half Life 2 (spoilers if you haven't played HL2) takes place at the top of the Citadel, the ending of Dishonored takes place at the top of the lighthouse - not to mention there are other similarities like oppressive ruling, building designs, some enemies like the tallboys look almost like Half life 2 Striders and the City watch is basically the Combine.

I'm now interested in getting Dishonored 2, how is the story in that game? is the game good as Dishonored 1?
