I really appreciate it that Jindosh is a completely other take on the "eccentric genius" trope than Sokolov

Sokolov seems to be more of a polymath then Jindosh, more a Da Vinci than a Tesla. He is an inventor, a painter, an explorer and an archaeologist. I wouldn't say Jindosh isn't capable of doing all these things, but this intrests seems to lie more in craftmansship. His laboratory has the sub-sections anatomy, weaonry, chemistry, optics and woodcraft. He is not shown to have a large intrest in art - there are no paintings made by him, but he invented the silvergraph, which is a more pratical way of capturing an Image. Jindosh shows some artistic tendencies, like the singing machine the outsiders mentions in low chaos at the Shrine in "The clockwork mansion", but he focuses more things that have pratical use. Him being discribed being gifted at a young age seems to fit the trope of the "Miracle Child".

Jindosh is also less hedonistic then Sokolov: One of Sokolov's main character traits both in dishonored 1 and 2 is his Lust for life and pleasures, or "Drinking in all that life could offer" as the outsider calls it. He enjoys wine, women and sophistaced conversations, while Jindosh prefers to speak in lengthy monologues to proof his superior intellect. He is more narcissistic then Sokolov who is almost portrayed as a philantrope in Dishonred 2, though a pragmatic and machiavellian one. Also Sokolov has a better sense of humor.

The writers could have easily make Jindosh into the same character as Sokolov, so I'm really thankful they spend the time creating a completely new Version of the

    Another Dishonored reference in Prey.

    Another Dishonored reference in Prey.

I´ m playing Prey right now, and I just found out that, in this piano, when you play it, the chords are of the Wrenhaven River ost from the first game. If they are not exact, they are very similar. Outstanding reference from Arkane there.

I´ve searched in this reddit, but i´m not sure if this has been posted yet.

    The reference itself.

Mod that allows for powers in Stilton's Mansion?

    Posted: 22 Sep 2021 12:16 PM PDT

Title, looking for a mod that allows the use of powers in the time piece mission. Been playing the game since release and after the first couple runs of it the gimmick of switching timelines got old pretty fast and now it's something I always skip over or dread playing. Anyone know of anything that resolves this?
