My idea for a possible online mod. Posted: 30 Jul 2020 08:45 AM PDT So here's the idea. You play as Daud's assasins and go on missions together. The og weapons and powers from the game are same in there and as you go on missions you gain xp and with them you unlock runes and charms which you use to upgrade your equipment, powers and buy skins/masks (like the ones they use in Lady Boyle's party or something serious like Corvo's) Certain powers are not in the mod such as time bend and any other that might affect the other person(s) playthrough. You get extra xp if you do a ghost or merciful play etc. I don't think this should be the main focus of the third game but I think with the experience they gain from Deathloop Arkane can do something to add even more replay value to the game. Edit: playing as the withches and going after Delilah's enemies or fetching important items for her wacky magic experiments could also be an option. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:33 PM PDT I was playing DOTO and doing the Bank Heist mission. Why can't we relock the deadbolt on the security room door, thus locking everyone else out? [link] [comments]
Bank Job with Dishonored 2 powers? (spoilers) Posted: 30 Jul 2020 04:14 PM PDT I'm playing through DOTO with Dishonored 2 powers, and just got to the part where you have to get to the vault controls and I have to get into the room with the whale oil tank to disable the electric floor. In normal mode I'd Displace through that grille using the rat tunnel, but I don't have that power. Anyone know how to get past this other than by shooting the tank (causes a big explosion that brings the Clockwork Soldiers)? [link] [comments]
Is Corvo's mask different in both games? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:06 AM PDT The second game one looks larger and more colorful. Where the first game one looks like some nightmare fuel demon face with black paint and a broken mouth piece. Is this related to the art style or is there a lore behind this? [link] [comments]
Did Corvo ever wore the mask again before the second game? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 10:07 AM PDT I haven't read any comics or books so I come to you dear reddir users. [link] [comments]
Tips for 100%ing Dishonored 2? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 09:36 AM PDT This will be the first time I ever go for 100% on a game. I've played this game multiple times before when it first came out, and now that I have it for the PC, I wanna truly honor this game. I just completed having fun with a Corvo High Chaos run. Now Emily Clean Hands and Shadow, as well as those pesky super rare achievements. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jul 2020 04:10 AM PDT With rise of the Resident Evil remakes I have been thinking a bit about a potential Dishonored remake, about what Arkane could do if they were to make one. Here's some stuff I came up with. First, I'd like to see actual consequences for killing people. In the original, the game told you killing was bad, but you never really see why until later missions and it didn't feel like it was a consequence of my actions, but more like the game flipped the „rat mode" switch on and it was mostly felt in smaller areas. Another thing I think would be cool would be to allow the player to share Piero's Remedy and Sokolov's Elixir with the citizens of Dunwall (but not weepers). This of course means that the player will now have less remedies and elixirs for himself and they'll have to choose how much of them they give to others and how much they keep for themselves and whether they give away remedies or elixir, both of which are very important. Now with these two systems combined what I have come up with is „infection levels". What that does is the more of the infected, rats and weepers there are and the more guards you kill the more the infection level rises. There would be 3-4 infection levels and once the infection reaches max the area is now fully infected and the guards will fall back, form a new checkpoint and leave the area to rot. Basically they'd leave the mission area. Now the rats and weepers have taken their place and are crawling through the streets and through buildings. There should be no advantages to reaching the max infection level. Yes, that house no longer has anyone living in there and their valuables are up for grabs, but there could have been a lot more in there, more gold, more jewelry, more paintings, but now most of the valuables are either gone or destroyed and the the place is crawling with rats and weepers. What do you think? Do you have any ideas of your own for a potential remake of the first game or a future sequel? I had some other ideas, but they where more on the technical side of things like no loading screens during missions, but those are boring. [link] [comments]
Dishonored 2 audio issues on PC - Cutting in and out. Posted: 30 Jul 2020 08:01 AM PDT Is there any fix for this available for PC? Right now pretty much all the sound effects from pistols to melee swings, to voices cut in and out. [link] [comments] |
