Found this image from Dishonored 2, does anyone know which part of the game it's from?

    console FOV

Dishonored 2 is borderline unplayable for me because of how low the FOV is. Is there anything to change it / make it better?

Dishonored 2 Review: A Complete Artistic Masterpiece

    Posted: 05 Feb 2021 02:11 PM PST

Guys... This game is really good. This game is just simply amazing... On PC. On Console? Meh.

I digress, this game is really really really good universally.

The art style is what does it for me. That and the gameplay (on PC) are truly examples to be looked upon by other developers. The story is fine?? Interesting enough but I feel like the REAL story of the this game is the world you're exploring. The notes, the lore, the hidden areas. All of those elements are what I have convinced myself is the true story within Dishonored 2. This also adds a whole new level of relplayability.

Let's talk about replayability for a sec because I think this is where this game is a true gem. Some people say "ehh it's too short, the story isn't interesting." Which on the surface I see that. And I respect that opinon of those who want to be thrown in more right away off the bat. Or, want a story that is simply more linear and carries weight to it. Anyway, once you get past that surface level, and honestly even after you beat the game once, I have found it SO fun to go back and truly explore every inch of these levels. Gorgeous locations, incredible ways to play the levels over and over and over again. To me, it never gets old. That to me, is the key phrase: "It never gets old." So many games these days are dreadfully boring and so repetitive with little diversity within that repetition. Dishonored 2 turns that inside out which I really love.

I like Emily a lot. Good, simple character that has a real reason for what she's doing. I liked playing as Corvo too but I felt like his spotlight was in the first game.

The combat is a top tier experience. I do wish you didn't have to carry the heart to find runes and bonecharms, but whatever. Is what it is.

You may have noticed I preface playing this on PC. That's because, well, it plays so much better than on console. Much higher FPS, the gameplay feels like it was designed for a keyboard and mouse, and it looks far superior. Let's give that art style some proper representation, right?

Yeah this game is great. There's nothing like it.

    9.5/10

My interpretation of how Corvo would go about grieving.

    Chaos Question

    Posted: 05 Feb 2021 05:00 PM PST

Is there any reason to do a complete No Powers, No Deaths, Ghost play through? (Aside from just challenging myself) I just started this play through and I always forget that some of these enemies are such assholes I wanna kill em!

I just got through the first mission like that for the first time and did notice one thing new. When I began Mission 2 - Edge of the World I was on the docks. Usually a fight breaks out between a group of NPCs. This time they were having a reasonable conversation about how to take care of their financial situation. Maybe it was just triggered by a general low chaos or was it my pacifism in the Mission 1?

The Collector's Carapace armor masterwork for Dishonored 2 is pretty badass

Not sure if anyone noticed but the close-up at the top left of the shop menu(that shows your currently equipped masterwork)indicates that it turns Corvo's vest into chain-mail. Just thought that deserved a little appreciation post :)

How come killing Weepers increases chaos?

    Posted: 04 Feb 2021 09:27 PM PST

During my most recent play through I'm making sure I don't kill anyone I double checked on the wiki to make sure killing weepers was okay and apparently it wasn't. In earlier play throughs I assumed they fell into the same category as the animals and never thought twice about killing them. They're like zombies right? I know they still exhibit some human behaviors like sitting near fires to keep warm. Is their condition curable? Is it beneficial that they live for some reason?
