I've said it before and I'll say it again, Dishonored VR would be really cool.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 07:19 AM PST

Others have probably pointed it out before, but Dishonored is a really perfect series to be brought into vr.

Blink obviously becoming your vr teleport, and while I've seen some say that you'd be a very "clumsy assessing" because of how melee can work in vr, I always have to disagree because Blade and Sorcery (A game with really good vr melee combat) works perfectly well, and the combat honestly reminds me of dishonored to a point.

Ranting aside, it'd be a really cool game and being able to experience the world from that perspective would also be awesome.

Spent 4.5 hours on the second mission of DOTO

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 03:09 PM PST

Playing Death of the Outsider for the first time and Jesus! The sheer size of the level is mind-boggling. I still missed one bone charm and somehow, somehow, the underwater loot + 400 gold - goddamn it, Arkane!

Of course it's too much time to spend on one level and fatigue kicks in but I can't even fathom how they create such big levels with so much stuff to do.

Dishonored 2: Game looks bad and weird clipping on barred Windows/Doors. Any help?

Do you find Emily or Corvo to be more fun to play all around?

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 12:00 PM PST

I started with Emily, cuz I already played Dis1 as Corvo, but it honestly seems like his powers are better with more utility. The only power that Emily has over him IMO is far reach. I think its much more useful than blink. What do you guys think?

The beautiful final act of DOTO! Added music is “Forgive” by Burial

I can't start the game, need help. I'm using steam.

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 04:23 AM PST

Whenever I try it it sends me this message:
    Rendering thread exception:
    Fatal error!
Address = 0x1801795c (filename not found) [in C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\win32\binkw32.dll]
Address = 0x1801795c (filename not found) [in C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\win32\binkw32.dll]
I've already tried re-installing the game and verifying file integrity, but it didn't work. I opened the files and I saw that this binkw32.dll file is there, but for some reason it refuses to function.

    Dishonored Vs assassin creed

    Posted: 22 Feb 2021 02:27 AM PST

So I played each dishonered games but I only really played AC syndicate (mainly for the Victorian era setting) and I know this might be a tad silly to ask on a Dishonored sub Reddit but does the two series even match up . Cos up to now there's only 3 Dishonored games whereas there's at least 6 AC games.

Plus I prefer the stealth and nonleathal side to dishonered that I never got from AC syndicate. But then I get that AC is an open world exploration game whereas dishonered is a tightly designed experience.

Plus plus I'm sure corvo, Billie, daud or Emily would wipe the floor would wipe the floor with any of the AC protagonists. Least if AC syndicate is anything to go by

Is it possible to change the aim acceleration in Dishonored 2?

    Posted: 21 Feb 2021 08:38 PM PST

I loved the first Dishonored when it came out. When I got my new console and Gamepass Dishonored 2 was one of the games I was most excited for. But I genuinely couldn't even make it through the tutorial. The aim acceleration in the game is just excruciating to me.

Please tell me this can be fixed somehow on Xbox. I can't seriously be so unusual in finding it unbearable.
