Dishonored hd textures with reshade ray tracing showcase Posted: 12 Sep 2021 05:07 AM PDT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0kaenW3Oos If anyone knows how to extract and repack tfc files , it would help me finish this mod , since texmod is not very good for long games , because you have to load the tpf files everytime your on a diferent are. Posted: 12 Sep 2021 02:19 PM PDT I'm playing through Dishonored and it seems Sammy poisons the beer before you get there as he doesn't have time to once you arrive and the drink is already waiting. Why didn't he just tell you that the beer was poisoned and that Havlock, Trevor, and Martin have gone crazy? Then you wouldn't be poisoned at all! Also, why didn't he keep your body with him once you were poisoned? Why did he just dump you out to be found by Daud, the Loyalist, or the Grand Guard? Hell, a weeper or hagfish could have eaten you. New to the sub just finished the first title. Friend recommended playing before DL. Posted: 12 Sep 2021 03:18 PM PDT Start to finish the plot was great! I'm shocked I missed it when it first came out. So many games use these mechanics now. Playing the DLC. Secretly hoping there's Easter eggs in DL. [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Sep 2021 07:52 AM PDT I was In mission 7 in dishonoured 2i finish the level and what do you know I have a kill idk how. I'm playing for the first time and am on normal doing ghost no kill no power and don't have a save in mission before kill. Anyone know where it came from? Like in level 6 there's a trip wire that if you tranq a overseer at the wrong time they fall in and you get a kill. Anything like that in level 7? [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Sep 2021 05:33 PM PDT There's no reason why I should find rat skewers, a dish commonly found cooking on top of burning trash cans in back alleys, in the kitchens of people like Aramis Stilton & Luca Abelle—fat, wealthy men who stuff their faces with foods like Caulkenny Cavern Cheese, barnacles wrapped in pork belly, shrimp rolls, twice-cooked cakes, sweets & other delicious foods. Where are all the sweet biscuits & ox milk Emily had at the Pub? Where's the Blood Ox Steak the Heart reveals one Overseer is thinking about? Where are the Serkonan Honey Cakes mentioned in the books? I want the protagonist to be able to eat & comment on such foods. [link] [comments]
Was thinking about some dope ideas for the next Dishonored game if it happens, fingers crossed! Posted: 11 Sep 2021 08:39 PM PDT Building off of Deathloop it would be cool if the next Dishonored was nonlinear in play style. Missions would be more like quests and there would be dynamic side activities to do that would be generated periodically. The game would feature all main cities of the isles Dunwall, Karnaca and including those of Tyvia and Morely. Some other locations would be like "outposts" such as Whitecliff and the new colonies in Pandyssia. The main cities would be open worlds and most areas could be explored without restrictions. The game world changes depending on player choices and gameplay style so there is a chaos system in place this also affects how NPCs respond to the player. Set decades after DoTO the empress Emily Kaldwin is dead and left no heir, the empire has fallen and the world is divided into independent regions. The Void is now in chaos because the Outsider is gone like Billy Lurk mentions at the end of DoTO; it now bleeds into the world through tears and is slowly consuming it. There was a technological revolution following the fall of imperial control by Dunwall so technology is now a bit more advanced. For example there are now primitive flying machines and things are even more mechanized as are enemies. Expect more things like mechanical soldiers and tall boys. The different nations have lead new expeditions to Panyssia establishing small colonies there. Dunwall is caught in a civil war between the Abbey and Parliament who seek control over what is left, the city is a chaotic mess and disease runs rampant. Spiritual orders have emerged in such as witches covens or cults after the Abbey was dissolved in many places. That means each city has orders and factions that are unique to the city's style and character. This factors into the plot because these factions have their own conflicts within nations and regions. The story and main plot revolves around influential factions exploiting the tears and relics for their own power. The faction leaders are attempting to install themselves as a sort of "outsider". But this is making the tears in the Void worse and puts the entire world at risk. In some places the tears cause weird glitches and these areas are placed under quarantine. Billie Lurk took apprentices under her care who had traumatic life altering experiences with the Void such as falling through a tear. These apprentices now have powers because of these experiences. Billie Lurk is dying and must lead her apprentices to stop these factions and save the world before the Void consumes everything. Having multiple apprentices means the player can choose their character that has unique qualities and a backstory. This also opens up the possibility of coop multiplayer with friends in the game world. If the player plays single player only then the other apprentices become NPC allies. Some missions feature multiple apprentices so imagine missions where an entire crew of allies is blinking over the rooftops like the Whalers did in Daud's gang. It's possible to access the Void via the tears in the game world and it acts like a network. Traveling through the void allows the player to fast travel between cities and locations. It also ties into some missions and some lead the player into the past similar to Stilton Manor to experience different events from the previous games or relevant to the current story. The game plays heavily with the idea of time. Some tears are unstable and can lead to random places in the game world. Players can upgrade by collecting runes, bone charms and relics. Relics are unique items such as the double blade while some are very ancient and mysterious and grant unique powers. Relics have to be collected in main missions around the game world and are often guarded heavily by different factions. Relics are associated with different characters like Emily, Corvo or even Delilah. Players gain the powers of these characters when they collect the relics. Similar to the heart the relics create a link between the player and these spirts and Billy Lurk replace the Outsider as their guide in the game world. [link] [comments] |
