    For the first time, I did a genocide run of Dishonored which also had me use Adrenaline and mostly fighting abilities. I wanted to be in the heart of combat for every moment and... for the first time... I let her fall off the tower. I genuinely never knew the story would let you and I had always saved her. it's crazy how different the end screen was. I even Saw Corvo's mask on EMILY's GRAVE! I saw Corvo stand above Sammy's grave and the camera closed in on his dark sunken eyes. It was crazy. Always play it different guys. It's a beautiful and terrifying game!

    Anyone else think the Abbey’s symbol is kind of similar to the Mark of the Outsider? Both have C shapes, but the Abbey’s is more organized, and seems to have a “trident” going through it, instead of what looks like a staff?

    How is stealth in Dishonored compared to Far Cry?

    Far Cry 6 is one of my favorite games and I loved playing stealthily. I was able to liberate all the outposts while remaining completely undetected and without raising any alarms. In Far Cry, I like to play as a stealthy sniper and kill everyone from long range.

    Anyway, I've been looking for other first-person view stealth games and Dishonored seems to fit the bill. I've actually played a lot of third-person view stealth games such as Assassin's Creed and Hitman so I'm looking to switch things up this time around.

    When it comes to first-person view stealth games, I've played Far Cry 4, Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn, and Far Cry 6. How does stealth in Dishonored compare to those games?

    Clockwork sentinel heads in Dishonored 2 (slight spoiler for D2)

    In the Clockwork mansion you can find a couple sentinel heads which is pretty cool. This shows that Jindosh was working on the sentinels during the events of D2. In DOTO (death of the outsider) there are a couple sentinels which are either the first couple sentinels finished by Jindosh or someone managed to continue building sentinels. According to the wiki however before Jindosh died/got his brain fried he sold at least 5 sentinels to Dolores Michaels, which can be found in DOTO in Michaels bank. This means they were not able to produce more sentinels after Jindosh's fate.

    It is also important to mention that the sentinels lean on the prototype design of the clockwork soldiers, meaning the heads in D2 could be sentinel or prototype heads (referencing the wiki here)

    Everyone except the rich of course didnt like the clockwork soldiers and sentinels. One of the sentinel heads in the clockwork mansion is found attached to a doll as head used for shooting practice. This is great enveriomental storytelling cuz it shows how the guards dislike the clockwork soldiers and sentinels. I believe the clockwork soldiers and sentinels were supposed to replace the tall boys from D1. Some guards even reference the tall boys and how they miss them.

    I just wanted to praise this level. It's the only level I can ghost and 100% and I managed to figure it out on my own. I also love the atmosphere, I can feel the humidity in the air.

    Should I buy dishonored 1 and DOTO? (death of the outsider)

    I'm questioning whether I should get dishonored 1 and death of the outsider or not, as I have dishonored 2 and want to experience the first game for myself, it is currently on sale for PS4, should I spend $14.98 on them?

    Dishonored 2 - Robbing Black Market (in a "special" way) - Consequences?

    Howdy, people!

    I'll try to get as straight to the topic as I can:

    I am on my very first playthrough of Dishonored 2 and I am currently in mission 4. I went to the Black Market and took care of Paolo. The shopkeeper was grateful and I could purchase things.

    Also have I found the 2 shady ladies that want to blow a hole in the back wall to rob the place. After taking care of them I went to get a whale oil tank to see if their plan could potentially work. Well, turns out it does.

    If I blow up the back wall, now, I can see the shopkeeper cowering behind the counter. If I do not enter the back of the shop and go back to the front she's there for me, selling stuff. She's still dropping voice lines like her shop just blew up (well, actually it did), but I can "use" her as always. I can now go back around and stealthily steal all her valuables (not the items for sale!) unnoticed.

    My question is: Can I do all the blowing up and unnoticed stealing without any consequences or should I just leave it be and not blow up the wall in the first place?

    I'm going for a low-chaos ghost (never spotted, no kills) playthrough and try to get as many achievements on the first run as possible. I already know robbing 2 or more stores makes the music duo not spawn on their last spot, but does it count as being robbed when I proceed as described earlier?

    TIL Ramsey actually goes to the hidden room

    I was curious so I killed the two guards and threw them off a window, then hid near the bookcase. Ramsey walks to it, comments on how it was made by Sokolov, and walks into the room. He rambles on how the Empress could have saved his family, how a fraction of the gold there could have helped it and all. He also leaves the door open, so you dont get locked out when he enters (what a gentleman.)

    Camera control on console

    Hi, I recently bought dishonored 2 on psn. When I played it, the camera was so slow and unresponsive. Is there a way to make the camera better. I have tried multiple things like increasing sensitivity, changing literally everything but is the deadzone that bothers me. The camera moves with lag and then picks up the sensitivity. Please help me fix this. I really want to play this one because I really loved the first.

    Why did the whisper sound effect go away?

    I was playing D1, and the sound effects of using powers just went away for no reason. I tried reloading, and quitting the game, and using other powers, but the sounds just completely went away. Does anyone know what happened, and how to fix it?
