Just watched Netflix’s new series Arcane based on the video game League of Legends. It felt like I was watching Dishonored! The artwork for the City of Piltover was so similar to Dunwall; the buildings, the tech and the Enforcers uniform. Anyone else got the same vibe?

Drinking game: Full play-through of Dishonored in one sitting. Any time someone says "Should we gather for whisky and cigars tonight?" You respond with "Indeed, I believe so," "Never doubt it," "Chances are very good," or "Yes, of course" and take a shot.

About Dishonored 2 on Xbox Series S.

    Posted: 18 Dec 2021 10:13 PM PST

I started D2 and honestly it's a huge downgrade from D1 Definitive edition. For starters the game looks too sharp and it runs in around 30 fps, even overlooking that, the POV feels so jiggly and I honestly think the voice acting and recording feels cheap, it really feels soulless, I noticed it with The Outsider's voice. Does anyone feel the same in other consoles? Do you think It'll grow on me? Honestly the only thing I've liked so far is The Void. (I just got to Karnaca and trying to figure my way into an Overseer's office as Emily).

I feel so cheated after falling in love with the first game.

Billie Lurk's fate in Knife of Dunwall (Spoilers)

    Posted: 18 Dec 2021 12:32 PM PST

I'm at the end of Knife of Dunwall for the second time and trying to decide what to do with Billie. My first playthrough was a Low Chaos, no kill, ghost run so of course I spared her. Now I'm going thru High Chaos and trying to decide what I think she deserves. At first I thought that she deserves to be spared because she thought she was doing what was right for the group by getting Daud out of the way but then I looked at her actions. She works with Delilah which allows the Overseers to storm our home and causes the death of many assassins. From reading the notes she's been plotting Daud's death for awhile. I'm not sure whether she deserves to be spared for that or not. I know canonically Daud spares her but I'm not sure. What do you think and what did you decide to do?

    Dishonored Iceberg Update

    Posted: 18 Dec 2021 11:23 PM PST

It's coming along nicely but some more material is needed. What we need now is some secrets or information that some Dishonored players don't know about, e.g. being able to find Overseer Campbell at the Flooded District or being able to equip the cleaver as a weapon. Feel free to comment whatever you feel would be iceberg worthy, whether it's to do with speedrunning, an inside joke, crazy theories or anything that might be obscure. You'll all be credited for your contribution! If you missed the first iceberg post you can find it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/dishonored/comments/ridbgf/in_hopes_of_creating_a_dishonored_iceberg_what/

    What's your favorite game?

    Posted: 18 Dec 2021 12:56 PM PST

Hey guys, I'm just playing the 2 games and their dlcs after 3 years, and i noticed that I'm a biga fan of Daud's point of view, so I was curious and wanted to know what's your favorite game and why, dishonored 1, the knife of dunwall/the brigmore witches, (I know they're dlcs, buts lets say they're another games) dishonored 2 or death of the outsider?

Most people dont play the game by just kinda runnin and gunnin. So, what would be a practical application of this tool?

Tips and advice for a long-time appreciator

    Posted: 18 Dec 2021 12:52 AM PST

    Hey everyone,

So I've started Dishonored about 10 times now on 3 different platforms (X360, PS4, PC). I've got to various stages each time but eventually got confused, or frustrated, or stuck and given up.

Thing is, I love the world and atmosphere of the game and I feel like I should love it. Something just isn't clicking with me though.

With some time over Xmas and nothing else to do I want to try and break through that barrier and really understand why Dishonored is so loved and raved about.

So any tips or advice for me? Any pitfalls you can warn me about?

Finally Going to Play Dishonored 2 Today. Corvo or Emily for First Playthrough?

    Posted: 17 Dec 2021 12:44 PM PST

Hi everyone, the title speaks for itself but i played the first Dishonored recently and loved it. I bought the second game not too long after that and got super into immersive sims afterwards and was going to play Dishonored 2 after I finished Deus Ex HR but couldn't help myself. Would it be better to play as Corvo or Emily for the first playthrough? Thanks and looking forward to getting back into the series!

Edit: I went with Emily. Thanks everyone!
